Simplicity 3170; ©1950; Junior Misses' and Misses' One-Piece Dress: The dart-fitted bodice, styled with short sleeves, is scalloped at the upper edge and top-stitched to a yoke. Gathers at the waistline release fullness in the skirt, which joins the bodice at the natural waistline. The shaped upper skirt is scalloped at the lower edge and top-stitched to the lower skirt. Style 1 bodice has a high round neckline and wide scalloped cuffs edge the sleeves. Piping trims the waistline seam and picot edging trims the scallops. Style 2 bodice has a contrasting yoke with a low round neckline. Braid trims the seam line of the scallops on the bodice and skirt.
